Two lovers is a bad mayonnaise. Ingredients might be right but the finish product tastes funny. Both Joaquim Phoenix and Gwyneth Paltrow are way too old to play lovebirds in distress and even if anything is possible on the screen, pairing them is not such a good idea. This part -which is the center of the movie- is wrong as is the ending of the movie which probably came to the screenwriters with the little help of a message hidden in a fortune cookie. Good thing Gwyneth has Goop and Joaquim has a hidden hairy agenda.
Two lovers est une mayonnaise mal tournée ! Les ingrédients sont les bons mais la sauce ne prend pas. Joaquim Phoenix et Gwyneth Paltrow ne sont plus assez jeunes pour jouer les amoureux transis et même si tout est possible à l’écran, les faire jouer ensemble n’était peut-être pas la meilleure idée qui soit. La fin du film est inepte et semble tout droit sorti d’un fortune cookie. Heureusement pour Gwyneth, elle a Goop et Joaquim a sa barbe.
