Once upon a time, Loren and Carol Mc Kerrow adopted a baby boy named Marc because they thought they couldn’t conceive children, but two months later, Carol got pregnant and Paul was born shortly followed by another boy named Todd.

Prodigal Sons is a powerful and heart-breaking documentary made by Kimberly Reed, the daughter of Loren and Carol. Kimberly was formerly known as Paul Mc Kerrow but that is not the point of the documentary which mostly deals with the mental illness of the oldest one, Marc, who suffered a head injury in his youth and happens to be the grandson of Orson Welles and Rita Hayworth. If you think your family is complicated, watch this movie !

Il était une fois Loren et Carol Mc Kerrow. Comme ils pensaient ne pas pouvoir avoir d’enfants, ils adoptèrent un petit bébé qu’ils appelèrent Marc. Mais deux mois plus tard, Carol se retrouva enceinte et mis au monde un petit bébé qu’ils appelèrent Paul. Paul fut suivi de Todd et cette famille sans enfants se retrouva avec trois garçons, vivant en paix et harmonie à Helena, Montana.
Prodigal Sons est un documentaire fort et brutal réalisé par Kimberly Reed, la fille de Loren et Carol. Kimberly s'appelait Paul avant de changer de sexe mais ce n’est pas le sujet du film qui est principalement Marc, le fils ainé, qui a développé une maladie mentale des suites d'un accident à la tête et qui se trouve être le petit-fils de Orson Welles et Rita Hayworth. Si vous pensez que votre famille est compliquée, ce film est hautement recommandé!
